Dwolla is a United States only e-commerce company that provides an online payment system and mobile payment network. Dwolla in your context might refer to the exchange rate of the Dollar to other currencies? <Dwolla = slang for Dollar?>

I've done the same, posting my email address in a forum but it's not about cryptocurrency though but what happen is lots of mails received in my email. Since it's crypto i'm sure you may received an email that may contain a malware, just make sure you don't touch anything at all.

Bitcoin may be bought at coinbase or in localbitcoins but it's your choice where to buy.

There are more than one exchanges were you can purchase bitcoins without encountering any problems,exchanges such as coinbase,Luno etc, I personally make use of coinbase and I do not have any issues with their services..

You can also purchase bitcoins from individuals,i have actually done that once, but be careful and make sure such user has a verified account on this forum,and always trade using an escrow service
