Is Bernie going to win Michigan? They are saying he has a slight lead but no announcement yet. I think this would be a big surprise since Clinton was leading in the poles.
Michigan is my island Bernie won like I said he would... I'm probably the only person who called Michigan for Bernie

I heard they had Clinton by 10 point and earlier had her by 30 points. Sometimes the poling is not accurate or the questions are framed incorrectly. Also, Bernie could have changed some people's minds in the last few days or weeks.

Also, Bernie could have changed some people's minds in the last few days or weeks. And sometimes the polls are based on "registered voters" (democrats only), when Michigan is an open-primary (allows independents to vote) and should have been polled based on "likely voters" (registered democrats + independents) Similarly, national polls which use "registered voters" show Bernie and Hillary tied... but "likely voter" polls show Bernie up by 6%+ nationwide (a week ago, prolly higher now) Bernie beat the polling average in Michigan by 22.9%! If all the polls favor Hillary by 20%+ higher than voters actually vote for her... Bernie might win by a landslide... Final Results -- -- -- 48.3 49.8 Sanders +1.5 RCP Average 3/3 - 3/7 -- -- 58.7 37.3 Clinton +21.4

Michigan is my island Bernie won like I said he would... I'm probably the only person who called Michigan for Bernie " What went wrong for Hillary Clinton in Michigan?" I thought you'd enjoy seeing this. It's from CNN. CNN exit polls showed that Sanders outperformed Clinton among voters who are "very worried" about the U.S. economy, 56% to 40%. Among voters who believe international trade takes away American jobs, Sanders also led Clinton, 56% to 43% — a sign that Sanders' populist economic message resonated in Michigan.
In another troubling sign for the Clinton campaign, among voters who said their most important priority in a presidential candidate is that they are honest and trustworthy, Sanders overwhelmingly outperformed Clinton, 80% to 19%.
Some supporters pointed to the fact that, in contrast to Sanders, Clinton had only campaigned in Detroit, Flint and Grand Rapids. After campaigning tirelessly in Nevada and South Carolina, Clinton's schedule in Michigan seemed less packed.

So I guess Michigan was not a winner take all state. Bernie Sanders only got a few more delegates than Hillary Clinton for his win in Michigan.

I'm hearing that Bernie won the debate last night pretty strongly. That could give him some more momentum in the upcoming primaries.

It was a massacre... If the debate were a boxing match, Bernie had the TKO by round 3 Bernie threw some serious punches, and Hillary had no defense... Bernie rope-a-doped Hillary all over the debate

Clinton is leading by less than 200 delegates (superdelegates don't count) The southern states hold primaries first, so it was an obvious early lead for Hillary... After the 15th, which may be another split, it's all Bernie with the northern states

Well...Bernie's still a longshot according to the prediction markets. But his odds are definitely sneaking up: PredictWise's implied percentage is now 9%. I remember it sinking to 4%. Still a longshot, but with double the percentage of a week ago. It's certainly an interesting race to watch. Essentially, Bernie's hope is to come on strong enough to sway the superdelegates over to his side like President Obama in '08.

How do the super delegates play into this? Can they swing the election to Clinton even if Bernie wins the nomination?

Yes they can, because they're not bound by caucus or primary results.

Yes they can, because they're not bound by caucus or primary results. It's never been done before, and would certainly destroy the party if they did such

Would he (Bernie) run as an independent if that happened? The strange thing is that the same could happen in the republican party from what I hear except it's not super delegates but a brokered convention I think. That is if Trump has the most delegates but not 50%.

That's what you are dealing with. The answer is very simple. Stop believing in and dealing with those types of people.
