I am a newbie here and just learning the ropes.
My interest is not in mining but in trading, investing and doing projects using Bitcoin.
I am just wondering if there are non-bitcoin related businesses that have been successfully started with Bitcoin loans or bitcoin funding. I would really appreciate your responses. Huh

Almost in most cases, there are lots of investment sites that offering good returns by investing your bitcoins. Don't just get easily hooked by those high returns as it a 100% ponzi scheme or a fraud companies. Stay away from this. There's no such thing as bitcoin instant in just a short time.

For now, as a newbie, you can do some safe bitcoin earning method to earn your beloved bitcoin. There are lots of "safe" way as it always discussed throughout this forum and spread many times in some threads here. Just browse here and get involved in the community.

Trading and lending also considered as good method "but" remember that this method has a risk involved.

Soon while growing up you will know deeply about those risk so for the meantime you can start with the safe one then began stepping to those risk method later (excludes investing in ponzi scheme).

Regarding trading as it's one of your interest, It's requires some dedication so unless you have fair amount of time to check the cons and pros and balance everything fast then I would say go with something else. Regarding investments on projects that are non-related to BTCitcoin, those are a lot riskier (base on my experience funding my own 3 projects but in the end not successful) but the following links might interest you as well:

It's not about interest but you need to know the people ,dev's ,market and the flow in order to make a significant amount of coins.

I am just wondering if there are non-bitcoin related businesses that have been successfully started with Bitcoin loans or bitcoin funding. I would
Yes,there have been many. Most of the developers make altcoins and are ICO/IPO etc..most recent example is warp.

I have not exactly what you want to have and asked a your post. And I think that making investments in bitcoins in new startups is very risky for several reasons. Firs of all a start up in itself is risky because is a new thing. As such with big probabilities to not achieve that which want to achieve. Such kind of investment can be considered less risky only in the case when are involved big and known names in the field in which the start up will act (and in this case I think that is hard to be part of investors or the minimum amount accepted would very high), or when you are full expert in the field of acting of the new startup and can understand fully about what is the meaning and find it achievable in a reasonable probability. Such cases are rare to be met and I don't thing that is easy for you to find such kinds here with this post. It would more easy for you to invest in sites which accept bitcoin and give profit over the amount given to them. Naturally that this cases are even more hard to be believed but are more easy to be found. Then analyze their data and make that you think is more reasonable for you. I for example have invested on two such. One was revealed scam after about two month while the other one (which has 5 years online and paid correctly every day) give me everyday profit since three months. So, it is hard to find sure things.

Agree. That, perhaps, should be a very lucky guess for a newbie to find a startup really worth investing.
So,  n2004al, is there any secret you have learnt on how to find 'sure" things?
