We all know that that is not going to happen, the chance of that happening is way to small to ever happen so we can count this out. Lets focus on what can really happen with the price.
i think it's possible, bitcoin can increase very fast when there is a pump, from $430 to $700 that is 80%!, if it increase again by 80% it will be above the last ath, my worry is if it will be strong enough to hold that point I just hope it will hit $1200 by this time next week. If the price rises too fast, there is a bubble. It is not good. I think you mean the price to hit $1200 this time next year. It is very possible for the price to rise to that level. Obviously, the price will not double in a matter of 10 days. But even for the end of this year this will not happen. It's not realistic if you ask me. The price can rise offcourse but we should have way more volume then now. |

It's hard and quite some money. I would consider diversifying a little bit. Put some in bitcoin and some in another asset. If the prices sticks at 720 you may have a problem when it (possibly) goes down again. Prices like 2016 dollar are not realistic. |

It's hard and quite some money. I would consider diversifying a little bit. Put some in bitcoin and some in another asset. If the prices sticks at 720 you may have a problem when it (possibly) goes down again. Prices like 2016 dollar are not realistic. I agree, however the price seems stuck now for a few days! Not sure if this is another ballon that will burst at ~1k and fall back to 500ish |

If you are intimidated with your decision making, don't make any. Such irrational actions could lead to despair. In my opinion basically you need to wait for the right moment, because I think your friend know that BTC will increase that's why he invested. In your case it could fall and bump, wait for the bumping because right now it is pumping and could bump already.. |

As always, another thread that lacks the indicative factors and some proofs that may point out that we must be heading to a certain price point.  Dreaming is fine, but being realistic is better in most cases  How will the price go up to even $2000 if most people will already sell at $1000 to take their profits. And if ever it'll reach higher than $1000, who's going to buy them if we all know that the price was a third of it few months ago. Thats how volatility put the problem. Sometimes it is good but sometimes it is bad. Well, you can sell those coins on market sites. I think what ever the price they will still buy it. So there's still a demand, because a market buyer is still considered as a demand on the coin. |

i would wait for now, and i'm sure many other are doing the same, a correction is coming, call it a dump, but i like to call it correction + consolidation at current or a bit lower levels |

So far those analysts seems right. Funny thing is that is sounds plausible, since we all know 250 was not a price which was realistic. A price of around 350 - 450 was more realistic. And so when the pump started and we reached 500 for a short i felt we finally got some good things happening. Now the price (with the halving or brexit or chinese people buying in) is near the 800 dollar and it should be there, but still i feel another large dump can happen any moment. Isn't that strange? |

I think for now or this year this price will not happen. The price will not rise above $700 this year maybe in the future your dream will come true.
So just keep holding and collect more coins if you really wants to be rich in the future but you will also be old as old man before making a excitement with your bitcoins or buy anything you want with bitcoins...

No this will not happen in my eyes because the fact is that the bitcoin has a very good future a head due to the fact that the halving is good.
I still think 2016 will be the year but not with such amount.

I dont think so that it will happen and that is because you have to know that the value is now indeed rising but it is now not rising not that fast.
And of course it will be really bad if you are making some mistakes because you are greedy just hold now your coin and that is all.

I think the chance is less than 10%. It that happens, it means there is a big price bubble, the price will drop a lot after. |

I hoped for some new record, and I still think there is a lot of chance for that to happen. We like when price is rising, and when its dropping we going crazy around the forum. I`m optimist even when times are hard, that is faith in my opinion. I also think price will rise in future, and after some top it will settle on 800 $. I believe we have 30 % chance for that. 10 % that we will stabilize on 1000 $ before new year. |
