Hi everyone,
Was wondering why there isn't a ETH wallet similar to those we have for BTC or even other altcoins (such as Coinomi).
Is it impossible, due to the characteristics of the coin? Or is it likely that such a wallet might still be developed?
Thanks

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Yeah, it might need one of those eventually for it to "replace bitcoin". A cut down from the recommended 500 confirmations would help to.
Maybe it's not a currency... Hmm..

At this you See Ethereum/Ether is still at the very beginning. But Mist is working smooth. Installed it and it was quite easy to get it running. Ether to the moon!

Mist wallet is incredible and is easy to use. Makes shitcoin wallets look so 2008.
Ethereum is showing everyone how it's done.
Buy!

500 confirmation is 500*15 = 7500 seconds or about 2 hours. The 6 confirmation of bitcoin is about 1 hour. So it is not too long. 15 seconds block time can have many orphans.

You have a semi-newbie-friendly wallet posted like posted before. The team is now focusing on acheving Ethereum's code. Until then, if the semi-newbie-friendly wallet is too hard to use, just let your coins on your exchange. This way you'll even be able to sell it in the case of a pump.

I asked this very same question in another thread, as I was curious myself. No one answered the question. Is Ethereum not really an altcoin or what? I assume it is, as it trades on poloniex like one.
