It is possible considering I logged off last night with 1BTC = $18.5 and I checked mtgox just now to see it's at 1BTC = $31.70.
However, I think it's extremely unlikely it will ever reach $1000. I can see it easily reaching 1BTC = $100, maybe even $200 at a push.

I voted for Nov-Dec, my conservative estimates put it there. If bitcoin is ever fully adopted it should reach the 1 million dollar mark by the time we all want to retire.
I cant wait that long, i was kinda hoping for it to reach $1billion by next weeek so I can retire on my 25th bday  |

Voted September/October. Bitcoin is up 90,000% since January. Most people will say that that rate of appreciation is unsustainable and will end any day now. Most people have been saying this since I first got here.

I can rember back when a bitcoin was worth a nickle, and there were polls just like this about when bitoin would reach parity with USD.
