Whether or not Bitcoin mixing services will ever be very useful to the Bitcoin ecosystem, remains to be seen for now. Digital currency was never intended to be anonymous, and any service claiming to provide something else requires users to put their funds and faith into the hands of a third party. Plus, users have to rely on Tor to access certain Bitcoin mixing services, which only makes the whole process even more complicated. Not to mention how there is always a risk of losing funds.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The cash in the wallet in your pocket is pseudo-anonymous. Your neighbour or the thief on the corner, do not know... or should I rather say... should

not know, how much money is in there or in your bank account. The same goes for Bitcoin... if everything was out in the open, everyone would be

informed about your financial privacy. The mixer services are not fully protected from the authorities {They can always be forced legally to divulge

criminal actions} but they protect you from a nosey neighbour or that thief on the corner.
