According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

ok 4.0.1 wallet is available on the website. everyone should be on that version as soon as possible (need someone to compile a mac version for me since i cant compile that OS) there is less than 100k blocks left to upgrade because of the PoS changes at that block. those not on the new system will fork. exchanges and BE should be alerted of the update immediately.
i reuploaded the wallet due to some very small error so if you found it wasnt working just redownload it
Can you please post a direct link to the v4.0.1 wallet here also? (as link is not updated on the OP yet)

why reupload the download? i had a direct link for it? All important links will be in a Dropbox folder so there will always been accessible unless dropbox servers go down. I already have the first link to the The-node.net website as the first link in the OP, coinmarketcap, chainz, and blockexplorer. Thanks again for all of your hard work Griffith.

So everyone with a MAC needs to sell of their coins or create a fork for SUPER

So does this new wallet reduce the ram usage?
no, that problem is more complicated and since it doesnt actually change the chain. i still havent found a long term solution for that. the 4.0.0 wallets have about 100k more blocks before they will no longer function and will fork. so we will just need to find someone to compile a mac wallet before then. the memory wallet will come out as 4.0.2 and will be an optional update

I was not prepared to find an individual to compile a Mac wallet since I'm not a Dev. What are your suggestions Griffith? Btw how much time do we have before there is a fork ?
I have sent messages to yobit, alcurex , & btcpool this morning. Thanks for getting ccex on the new wallet already!
PS we should coordinate these releases more efficiently with the community , all exchanges that are trading Supercoin and make sure the Mac and windows wallet are ready to go before releasing them.

You guys should show a SHA256 checksum for the file, that way when we download it , we can verify the checksum. http://onlinemd5.com can be used to verify checksums.

Is there an exact block number for the switchover?
