Nice to see people still remember this coin lol, hopefully one day it gets the attention it deserved. I might buy some just in case when I free up some btc

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

We're working on a new ANN that will include the new website, twitter and email.
Once we get that up I'm sure it'll get the attention it deserves Smiley

Yup, they all look like scams.
Why would they focus on creating such websites and then neglect the bitcointalk forum?

They seemed to be active between may 25 and june 1 :-D
It looks like someone was trying to create a hype about SuperCoin and it worked if you look at the historical prices between may and august...
All those websites don't have much dept, mainly buzzword and vague descriptions, so it wouldn't surprise me if a single person, or very small group of persons used a bit of webspace, registered a couple of domains and created every single one of the links you've found.

Bitcointalk
supercoin.nl
twitter.com/_SuperCoin_

Those are our homes :-)

I have just read an interesting story posted on Twitter about Supercoin and dangerous one horse race...
Yes, I did the same thing.
And also lost a lot of money, maybe not as much as the autor himself, but... I have lost it all...For me it was enough. Well, it was too damn much.
Later, there was not even a chance for me to jump back in with some other coins...
So, I am just here, writing sometimes about it... Who knows, maybe there is a light at the end of the SuperCoin tunnel.
Maybe is there some sunshine even for me.
Good luck to anybody who is still here.
Man that is a touching story. Hope you will get your due someday..
Your signature too says "Back in the Real World". So whats the story. When did bitcointalk and Supercoin happen to you? What really happened to this and those other coins..
I suppose the same that will happen to 98% of the ones mushrooming right now. Its hard to believe but it seems likely that crypto world has already been through a similar phase, albeit at a smaller scale.
Teach me all you know if I am wrong..

Дeлo в тoм, чтo yкaзaнныe нoды внeceны в conf. изнaчaльнo, a пo ccылкe нa экcплopep нoды нe oтoбpaжaютcя.
The fact that these nodes included in conf. initially, and by reference to the explorer nodes are not displayed.

I've had the same thing after some windows update.
This is going to sound stupid but have tried turning your computer off and on again?

If all else fails:
-back up your wallet.dat file
-remove the supercoin folder
-run the supercoin-qt.exe to create a new wallet
-let it sync
-close the application
-replace the empty wallet.dat with your backed up one

So is it a comeback for this coin? what's the long term vision?

Long term vision is to get supercoin back on more exchanges.
It's running fine the way it is currently there is no need to improve anything.
We are looking into creating bitcoin wallet to gather resources to pay developers if needed.

We're also creating a new and clear announcement page here.

We're actually looking to integrate supercoin in a couple of things
Smiley

I'm also figuring out how to create linux wallet (no guarantees yet however Smiley)

what will happen if soft cap is not reached?

Why wouldn't it happen?

On another, more pressing, note novaexchange just released this:
https://novaexchange.com/news/

Quote
2017-10-30 12:09 - Intimation of closure of Novaexchange

Kindly note "Novaexchange" will have new owners and management effective April 2018, with major upgrades to the exchange to better handle scaling, stability and security.

For better management and security of customer funds we have decided to close down Novaexchange so that the users can withdraw all their funds with no participation/responsibility of action of the new management.

Preliminary plan:
2017-10-30 This information goes public, user registration closes, addcoin page closes, disabling deposits of ETC and ETH
2017-11-30 Deposits disabled for ALL coins, all users get level 3 verified account level
2017-12-15 ONE last deposit scan to take care of deposits made after 2017-11-30
2018-01-31 Email reminder to all registered users
2018-02-28 Trading engine stops, dice game stops, API stops
2018-03-31 Login stop, website replaced with information
2018-04-15 Support closes, all Novaexchange user data removed

Remaining user balances that has not been withdrawn before 2018-04-01 will be considered a donation and is not refundable.

Let's get some SuperCoin on some other exchanges before 28 feb 2018.
We need to focus on the new ann and put some effort into contacting other exchanges!

A lot of action on the exchanges the last couple of days.
Prices varying from 100 to 200 satoshi.
What's going on, what's causing these price fluctuations?

Price fluctuations is due to the rise in the price of BTC.When BTC goes up ALT goes down and vice versa.

You probably know this but It'll be great if some original devs come back to the project, and fast. The whole business about anonymizing transactions has been giving headache to people and some of the recent coins already have plans to use SuperSend as DeepSend. Its the DeepOnion Coin that I am talking about.
There is a lot of people already who know about Supercoin through Deeponion.

That address belongs to coinexchange. It almost resembles the amount of supercoin for sale over there.

It's not completely without support. Smiley
We're just looking for an active developer.

About the volume of the last days, well... I don't have an explanation either but there are indeed some projects coming up so stay tuned! Smiley
