Xapo faucets dying breed

I think that was expected because of the large number of scammers trying to get easy bitcoins with no efforts, only through the use of robots. They have been the main responsible for this massive faucets failure, and their abusive actions have made those sites economically unsustainable.

I think it has to do with Google and adsense, does it not? I heard that Google is excluding faucets from adsense, and a lot of them have cut what they pay drastically.  Like Moonbit and moondoge cut their payouts well over half I think, and that's taking into account the spike in doge as well.  I don't even use faucets much anymore.  They're just not worth the time.

Just like the other facets, adsense is blocking the sites because bitcoin faucets aren't allowed to advertise, most of the pages have no content and people just come to claim

Faucetbox is the provider of chose nowadays for faucet owners, so there are still tons of faucets running, but most of them use Faucetbox, not Xapo.

Xapo used to have these promos for faucet owners if they used Xapo as their faucet payment provider, but I think don't they offer this anymore, which may be the case why there aren't many Xapo faucets. The ones that are dying perhaps have no funds, you can support your favorite faucets by checking out their advertisements once in a while.

Since googles adsense ban for faucets, a lot of them have no income.
The whole faucet sector will have a hard time, eventually disappear completely.

I think there should be a google adsense alternative. it is better option for faucet runner.

What I am trying to understand is how come faucets like freebitco.in and moonbitcoin are managing to make profit or at least survive. There are many users promoting these sites via PTC and traffic exchange. I hope they won`t be effected in the future.

Faucets are less and less profitable everytime I do a good working round. I remember times in which you could do 150k sat with a moderate effort. I would say that today you would get around only 50k with same effort... even though BTC has not doubled its value.

I agree.
And not only because the decreasing...the dry faucets as well

Faucets are just a good way to get beginners into Bitcoin and learn about the ins and outs of the system. Getting them comfortable with wallets, keys, address, qr codes, processing times, etc. They helped me when I started but quickly I realized how pointless and worthless they are. I think lately the demand has dropped because either they are paying even less or people are quicker to realize they are wasting their time.

I agree.
And not only because the decreasing...the dry faucets as well
it is frustrating all the dry faucets.

I think that bots and scammers are hurting the "faucet network" really bad recently.
The faucets owners  reduce payouts, add more and more bot protections and try to stay profitable but it's really tough.

Actually it's a lot of factors that have made majority of xapo faucets disappear in which their as follows:
1. Less user using them as opposed to faucetbox
2. Increase in bots
3. Adsense banning faucets
4. Xapo is limited to some countries
5. Users don't click on ads to give back to owners.

i also noticed the xapo wallet is not loading right anymore. it takes to log to load, sometimes 10 min

It's loading fine for me . I'm also thinking to create a faucet box faucet on my site since lot of fauceters are using faucet box .
