already messaged  John (johnthedong)  who was acting as escrow for this deal but he is offline and the scammers thread still exists and he is online

my message to nuts.com support

----

Thank you for the information. We have noticed someone stealing credit card and making faulty purchases for gift certificates. Would you be able to tell me where in the forum I could try and purchase one? Thanks so much.

~David

I really appreciate your help and feedback. Is there a way to alert people that this guy is a thief and this is a scam? Is there someone we can report this guy to? He is stealing credit cards and using them to purchase gift certificates from us. Thanks again for your help.

Why were 4 certificates emptied before use was possible? And why is nuts.com support telling me they have a ton of gift cards being bought with stolen gift cards?

Another reply  from their support since I posted this thread

Thanks. There will be some other angry folks too! He bought quite a few.

loadrs2009 told me that he ' got voucher as Birthday presnet from a freind and then he told me from where he bought '. The voucher is apparently sold on hackforums.net so there's a high chance of it being carded. I'm waiting for nuts.com to confirm that the voucher is indeed not working, and I'll refund the coins to camolist as per the original agreements.

terms i would agree to - please let me know if you want to make any additions or edits

$300 in certificates to nuts.com for 6btc held in escrow by john

i will be placing an order using part of the certificates after i receive them.

if all goes well and that order is received i will ask that the full 6btc be released to loadrs2009

i will provide any tracking numbers given by nuts.com. and nuts.com/myself will be responsible for any lost/damaged items. loadrs2009  is only liable that the certificates themselves work to place an order and it gets shipped out

i will be sending the 6btc after posting this message

The escrow address for camolist and loadrs2009's transaction would be: 1Cp8NZqqtK9itUU4uAPmLxng1PGNk9BfMr

Please state and agree to the conditions (if item is received damaged, item lost with tracking, customs fee etc) beforehand.
If possible, GPG sign your agreement to prevent any discrepancies later on and please ship with tracking to prevent problems during delivery.

On the event that any problems arises, I will release the escrow to whichever party that presents me with the most convincing proof after an open discussion with others and/or theymos.

Adamstgbit is owed 4BTC by him too. camolist is clear here as his coins are in escrow with me. I don't know if there's other victims.

He had PM'ed me stating that he has yet to obtain his physical orders yet despite the website's acceptance though. I'll wait for him to confirm this.

It's possible he might be under investigation by the cops at this point.

This is why you don't even TRY too-good-to-be-true deals like this...

Interesting story! Why would he agree to such a bullet-proof escrow knowing that it would come out eventually? At least 3 btc came out of it. Hoping to score a few more people willing to trust before it comes out?

He figured he would be long gone before the card got reported stolen?
Maybe he was just unlucky the card got reported quickly.
