Time has changed, folks! There are a lot of countries discussing the use of Bitcoin and now even mainstream scientists say, that Bitcoin is more transparent than cash and it will revolutionize not only the financial market, but also contracts, real estate, authority right etc etc. They even admit to not understand the Bitcoin code completely, but they are working on it. Soon they will understand, that any alternate blockchain, will not provide the same security as the one from the "original" Bitcoin network and then we will all get rid of cash.
Thank y'all for support

Well Bitcoin will certainly change in form and purpose. Also, I think it is important to differentiate between public and private blockchains and Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin doesn't get rid of the irrelevant rubbish transactions, it will be overtaken by a dedicated money transfer service. I won't run a full node if Bitcoin continues to store wedding ceremonies, and other non-finacial clutter. Would we have the blocksize debate if people disn't store personal messages in the chain?

I sure hope it will be successful! The thing is, it is entirely brand new and nobody can say for sure what the result of this great experiment will be. Apart from the classic buy early, be rich when it goes to the moon, I think the greater benefits are freedom.

It is possible that Bitcoin will die just look at what happened to e-gold, I remember having an e-gold account and then they suspended use of e-gold. I think that's the reason why Bitcoin was born.

That is a known news but yet a good one. It is always good when hear from the others something that you like. Even if it is known by you. But there something that mus be clarified here. It is not bitcoin which "will revolutionize not only the financial market, but also contracts, real estate, authority right etc etc." but the technology used to build and create it: the peer to peer. This is the real power of bitcoin. Not being simply a currency or a digital currency. The peer to peer give to it these qualities which make it unique and powerful. There will be to many the applications of this technology. And I think that the limit of it it would be only the human imagination.

Bitcoin is not an "account" and it cannot be suspended , It's decentralized and it's not controlled by people. If you ask me the only thing that may kill bitcoin is the shitty exchanges and their "we got hacked" scenarios , unless people decide to wake up and stop using them .

bitcoin will not die, as long as we know what direction the code moves forward in.
EG if they change the whole priv-pub keypair code, it can literally render 14mill coins useless if miners had an implementation that ignores things like ecdsa.
im not saying its going to happen, im using exaggerated extreme scenario. but still worth constantly checking the code updates for bugs or malicious code.
bt as long as miners continue mining clean positive code, bitcoin will continue

You can't specifically say bitcoins but using of the term cryptocurrencies would be better .I agree that most of the mainstream and commercial business have started to realize its effectiveness and they're encouraging the act. However its not really legalized in some countries or most of them.No specific laws have been listed out on their using terms, which is kinda of bad as you would never know what government could do.There is an enormous rise in altcoins which will turn out to be a strong competition for bitcoins.

As some negative news affected bitcoin in a bad way before, I think No one can be sure about the life of bitcoin. even with the decentralizing, Big pools miners are controlling btc and they can harm it by stopping mining or dump their coins fast.

finally a post on bitcointalk that i can agree with. i have been getting tired of seeing all the doom scenarios for bitcoin. with all the drama circling it! bitcoin is going to take hits but history has proven that it survived them all, lets just hope this way continues in the future too.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

To be honest, I agree. I see a lot of use scenarios for Bitcoin.
Yeah i agree also, if the price goes down it just means another business opportunity comes into the market and pumps the bitcoin back up. The govs can only do so much and dont have the control over things they would like or that people think they do. Society will make room for bitcoin.

I believe it will not die in our lifetime but it might not remain at the top of the field. I think an altcoin will go mainstream and topple bitcoin off its throne.

like i've said many times, at worst case bitcoin will be a niche market for us or for new average joe that are nerd enough to use something like bitcoin, this in the case the other "average joe, not tech savy" are not willing to parttecipate
i can not see how a decentralized project like this can ever be died, and do not make the mistake to think that because many alt have died in the past, then it's mean that bitcoin will have the same fate
this is simply wrong, alt are clone of bitcoin, they do not offer anything really new(and no monero with its anon feature isn't somethign new, like bitcoin is in comparison with centralized payment)

If that is the case what could be the alt coin that can do that bitcoin still remain and will always remain the number one there are not even an hour or a seconds that bitcoin was surpassed by any alt coin in the market they only supplement bitcoin strength,,

i don't sure, lol. in that case, bitcoin core holders would be in 'big damn', since the block size is kept increasing but the bitcoin block halves in time, no use to them.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded i am not really active for some reason

I don't think bitcoin could "die" per say but I think we could see some very interesting market bubbles and crashes in the next few years. Their are other crypto currencies that are far more suitable for storing wealth in, nuBits being a prime example of this.
Crypto is here to stay, however which one will come out on top shall be left for only time to tell.

I do agree with this as well since i find myself it is very secure and beneficial ad the technology used for bitcoins is very different and safer than old plans in different parts of the word. I am sure it will not die and give benefit to every one long time in our ages.

Agreed. That what I always say to my fellow friends and still saying it. They see just the negative feedback and the media that says it will go down or be deleted in my life in a blink. I just replied "Okay"

I sure hope so I am really excited this year to see just what will happen after the halving. Will more people jump on the train? Will it collapse?
