hey guys, im new to this mining world, (starting to mine bitcoins) nut i was wondering if there was an alt coin that could give me good profit (mining from GPU or any specialized hardware)
any advice on what cryptocurrency i could mine for long term profit and short term profit?
by long term i mean a new coin that seems to be promising, more than any other new ones...
by short term i mean a coin (maybe litecoin) that i could recover my investment in a few months...
thank you..!

My man, I don't know anything about mining as far as difficulty, but you ought to mine one of the better altcoins, doge or ltc if possible. All the rest are completely useless unless you're going to slap them onto an exchange and trade them for bitcoin. If that's your goal, go for whatever coin gives you the best bang for your buck. And that's almost impossible to tell unfortunately.

you might want to take a look at very new coins to mine as the first person as they are being released.
the low difficulty can be a good way of earning huge amounts and sell them after a while for profit.

Monero is a good anomymous coin. If you want privacy, that is a good choice.
Ethereum is a coin as well as a trading/programming platform. Many things can happen to it.

Want a good advice? Do your own research instead of relying on financial related advise from people you even do not know. I would suggest to look up ETH and XMR, because I prefer those two over all other. But what does that information mean to you? Right, nearly nothing without your own research. p.s. Do we really need this Gulden advertisement on each topic?

ETH for me, the community support can be seen in the exchanges. Even if the price dips, there are a lot of buyers so you can be sure that it will go up again. The daily volume is also something other altcoins can only envy of.

For short term profit, you can try Dash mining. Some folks get a lot of crypto coins in Dash mining.

All the "new" altcoins would be giving you nice results, because they arent that difficult to mine. I suggest you take a look at Etherium and Decred.

For the foreseeable future, I think the Etherum could be a good coin. It is in active development, and the price is rising.

sometimes you can earn a good profit if you find a brand new altcoin which is not yet released and be the first person to mine it, so get the most reward while difficulty is still low.

Yes this is a good Idea especially if you are just starting out with bitcoin. At the moment Sts is really good for this, you can buy it on Yobit and is only 2-5 satoshi at the moment. And you can find more info about this coin in the topic in this forum! But at the moment there are already some new good altcoins on the market. That I also personally own: - Ethereum
- Mint
- Lisk(still in Ico)
- Syscoin
- Warp
- Maidsafecoin
- Gulden(because I am from Holland)

For me it's ETH and Lisk (but still in ICO). SYS has been going strong same as Maid so I can't really buy due to them being at a recent price bump. What do you guys say about CBX? they seem to be making some noise lately.
