Why aren't my shares showing up in my mining pool (slush"s pool) account?

So I registered on mining.bitcoin.cz and downloaded GUIMiner. I've been running it for awhile and the mining app says I have 17 accepted shares, but none are showing in my account. Does it just take time for them to show up, or is there another problem?

I double checked my login info on the mining program. Can't think of what else might be wrong.

It can take a few hours sometimes for the shares to show up.  When I first started, I used bitminter in order to just get a feel for the whole process.  I typically didn't see the shares for an hour or so.  Patience is a virtue, you know.
