BitWrk delivers powerful 3D rendering over the internet. If you're a 3D artist using Blender to produce 3D pictures and animations, then BitWrk might be the right tool for you.

By dispatching your work to a swarm of computers on the Internet, BitWrk reduces your rendering times significantly.

Interesting idea.

Did anyone tried that already? Is there really a demand for such thing?

I find it original, but I hardly see how people could buy such a thing... I doubt the price you sell your hardware power is very interesting. (though still better than CPU mining xD)

It's a bit... Strange.
But cool, it's just another way of using your computer to earn btc, exactly like mining in the good old time of golden btc easy to mine xD

Here's a quote from shorena from 2 weeks ago (I cut the excess non related comments to this thread). After that I did checked and monitor the site for couple of days and would like to confirm that certainly there's no demand (at all) and it would have been a great way to earn few bucks though.

Doesn't surprise me. I don't really see why it would be used. Most people in need for such modelisations have the hardware to support it behind!

That's really a good idea making render farms decentralized, however what are the chances to bring no-bitcoin people in?

It actually might be something engineering firms would want.
