In my opinion I think everyone is wrong.
The same thing (sort of) happened with SwingDev & altcoin4life.
Owner goes inactive, account asks for a loan, doesn't pay back, 'real' owner comes back asking for account, altcoin loses 0.1.
You buy account, get scammed, suddenly owner comes out of nowhere and wants account deleted/back, you get the negative trust.
Interesting logic.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT AGREE TO THE ACCOUNT BEING CLOSED.

I just want my account back, holy crap, it's as simple as you changing the password, deleting any private messages you had, and sending me the password.

Why does this have to be so hard? Why can't you just be a decent human being and give it back?

Why do I have to pay you back for money you spent on someone else's account, didn't you have a hunch something was wrong when they sold you this account for only .6 BTC?

In my opinion I think everyone is wrong.
There is only one Legitimate God in the Forum "VOD"
The same thing (sort of) happened with SwingDev & altcoin4life.
Nope Altcoin4life was dealing with a hacked account when he was warned not to.His greediness landed him in trouble.
Owner goes inactive, account asks for a loan, doesn't pay back, 'real' owner comes back asking for account, altcoin loses 0.1.
Obviously, because there is something called as "Staked Address" and a smart lender would always asked for signed a message before lending 0.10.

You buy account, get scammed, suddenly owner comes out of nowhere and wants account deleted/back, you get the negative trust.
Interesting logic.
Definitely, owner has all the rights to claim his account back if he is able to provide a signed message .If you're buying a legendary account without the private keys of the staked address or escrow ,you're likely to get scammed, moreover it would stupid of you to do so.

It's like he's giving you $200 + USD on a silver platter.
How do we know you aren't the one who was behind the bullshit account sale?

Don't tell me you'd 'be a decent human being' if you were in his position.

@joel_jansten
The 'seller' said the private key was being sold, never sent it.
Why? We don't know.
How do we know that ltcfaucet didn't just not give to come back a week later and claim it as his own?
Staked address is stupid in that sense.

It's all right here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1355698.0

Signed messages, drivers license, cross referenced posts between this account and Jude Austin.

My God, this is just unreal, I really don't want my account deleted.

I just wish someone would restore my faith in humanity and do the right thing.

I don't think it will happen but I have been wrong before.

I believe you were an old owner of the account, sure.
But what I find hard to believe is that you aren't the one behind the bogus account sale.
Account gets sold, private key was said to be sold but isn't.
Suddenly just two weeks later, the original owner comes back & was earlier saying something along the lines of 'I don't care if it gets deleted' or something, but now says he wants it back.
Don't use the shitty faith in humanity response, we aren't stupid.

You're right, I wouldn't purchase a Bitcointalk account, period.

But if I did happen to purchase something and someone with out a doubt showed me proof it was theirs, I would give it back.

I have plenty of money, I am 27 years old with a high paying job at a very reputable corporation.

Please check this thread before making any assumptions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1355698.0

I wouldn't jump through all of these hoops for .6 BTC, trust me!

I make twice as much in an 8 hour work day.

When you pay 0.60 btc's ,what should you be receiving or demanding first ?I think any sensible person would use an escrow to verify the details and not send the money without a having access to the staked address.

Why? We don't know.
Because he wanted to scam,as easy as that.

How do we know that ltcfaucet didn't just not give to come back a week later and claim it as his own?
Staked address is stupid in that sense.
He probably is.If Op can prove it then obviously he will continue with the ownership rights of that account.

How would I have gotten in touch with the person on Skype to sell him my account then?

Can the person claiming to be me prove that he had reach out to someone or that someone reached out to him?

I would have had no way to contact this guy......

I fired up this old ass account because I figured it was the only way to help get my Jude Austin account back..

I want to know how the OP got contacted or where he saw Jude Austin for sale, because I never sold it.

OP, what BTCTalk account were you using before?

That(and who he bought it from) seems to be one detail OP is ignoring in each of his post. When someone keeps side-stepping a question like this, I start disbelieving their story.

Even LtcFaucet has bought this account (you know, the post history speaks a lot) ,so probably the account has been sold multiple times. But If Jude Austin can post the details of account auctions/pm/skype it will be much helpful.

so then refund me the 0.6BTC...
I am 0.6BTC out of loss and I PROVED IT with the skype logs in the other thread.
If not, I am deleting all content on this account simple as that.

i don't think it is fair that I am at a loss for your own mistakes/scams

Either way, you will be at a loss.

If they close the account, you lose out ~$200.

If you give me my account back, you still lose ~$200.

But there is a perk for the latter, you are doing the right thing, and you are making someone very happy.

And depending on whether this person gets any sleep any time soon, now 4:18AM here, he may be in a good mood and make up for your loss.

But as of now I completely swear you are a scammer.

Another reason I think you didn't pay for the account, you wouldn't be so willing to just erase it off the forum.....

Are you trolling me?

What makes you think that I purchased Jude Austin before?

I sure hope you aren't a forensic scientist or any kind of investigator because there are several ways to cross reference this account and Jude Austin to see that it is me.

But I will leave this here since nobody seems to believe I am who I say I am:
