Background article (which I find not completely agreeable):
http://www.runtogold.com/2013/01/goldmoney-mulls-bitcoin-integration-why-your-gold-is-not-safe-there/

Go to answer the Goldmoney Annual Survey:

Bumping this.

Also found it here: http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2013/01/goldmoney-mulls-bitcoin-integration-why.html

Make the survey, it takes only a view minutes.

Every vote survey counts. (even if I don't use it yet, but I would if they accept BTC)

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

And they are looking at what the customer demand would be to determine if it justifies allocating the resources to build out the system. So fill out those surveys!

In my experience, every wire to or from GoldMoney has been processed within 24 hours (assuming the bank was not closed due to holiday or weekend). Their reliability and customer service have been far superior to MtGox. Plus, they have been around for 12 years and not even a single dollar has been lost to fraud.

Beyond GoldMoney, it would be fantastic to see the entire gold/silver infrastructure and services (dealers, exchangers, quote services, etc) become dual-purpose and handle BTC as simply another "metal".

Imagine the convenience of being able to buy/sell BTC at your local trusted coin dealer.  Or online through a reputable business already hardened to handle high doses or fraud and chargebacks like APMEX.  If I owned a coin shop, I'd totally be looking to add a side business as a BTC<->Cash exchange...but unfortunately most of those guys are so old and change-resistant...many of them still don't see the point in having a website or realtime online inventory.

Exactly, the Luddites should list on Local Bitcoins.
