Yes That is is really great I think, Steam is the biggest gaming platform on pc. And so this will bring Bitcoin to the attention of a totally new audience. Like many young people who could get interested as well. But steam will trade the Bitcoin's for cash again right away. That Bitpay is a really good Idea they must be making a lot of money

G2A.com, Instant Gaming (best prices), GreemanGaming US, Kinguin, Humble Bundle, Games Planet, MMOGA. They are great games resellers accepting Bitcoins . And now, STEAM... it rocks.

I do admit to this. This seems like a great idea, and keeps BTC fluctuating. As the biggest online seller for PC, OS X and Linux games, this would be a huge step for the acceptance of BTC. Many resellers will follow, and other platforms as well. Also other media related markets, like music, film, and books. Maybe this is going to be the push Amazon needs to launch BTC payment on their site as well in the future.

What will happen to the 3rd party sellers of Steam games for bitcoins? Now they are selling the games with big overhead. Will they readjust the prices after Steam launches Bitcoin payments or they will close up shop?
aren't third party selling the game for cheaper? why adding bitcoin as a payment should change this? i see no correlation, aside from the fluctuations of the market any third party who sells an steam game cheap is either scam, stolen games, credit card or they bought the games at the resale like half off steam summer sales and now are selling it higher but yet cheaper that original price.

That will be so good. I think that it will be more popular for both sides. And that is so good. I hope it is possible. But you never know what can happen. But more people will use Bitcoin I think later in the future.

I think it will but it will take some time for sure because steam first want to look at the payment method to see if its trust worthy. If that is the point they will sure step in later, you can now already buy games but on indirect sites and that may be insecure, its much better if they have it on their direct system.

the news about steam accepting bitcoin has been in a rumor stage so it is going to take a long time until we are able to use our bitcoins the way we like.

Yeh man there are lot's of scams on the internet with people selling fake steam cards. Also steam account's are still pretty easy to hack, mine got hacked a while ago and i lost my csgo skins. I even had the safeguard thing on, some russian got in to it:S So this will be great for the users of steam, more ways to get legal steam cards!

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

you don't have to worry about the future of the bitcoin, because it can be ascertained that the future will be even brighter and bitcoin is very profitable. Because the bitcoin giving all that we want from the system, benefits, and advantages, if everyone was using bitcoin then already ascertained all shop (Online or Offline) will accept bitcoin

I have also read this somewhere that Steam is going to accept Bitcoin or already has accepted Bitcoin. I think thta this is a great thing for both and it will attract more users to both platforms.
