Bitcointalk.org was originally set up by Satoshi when he launched bitcoin, and is the centre of a lot of bitcoin/altcoin related commercial activity. One such commercial opportunity is earning from signature campaigns.

What is a signature campaign?
Signature campaigns are when your posts on bitcointalk all have a sponsored signature, and you typically get paid by the sponsor for every post you make on the forum.

You can easily make a bit of coin doing simple forum posting - for example a full member can earn 0.0003 btc per post, which is nice pocket change especially if you were going to post anyway.

However, as you can see, there arn't many opportunities for new accounts - all the most lucrative campaigns are for senior accounts. But how do you get to be a senior or hero member? It's not as simple as posting a lot - bitcointalk has a complicated activity formula to prevent people spamming their way up the ranks.

The throttle on how quickly members progressed up the ranks was introduced in 2013 in the following thread:

First of all, here are the ranks:



You move up the ranks based on Activity which is defined as

"Activity = min(time * 14, posts)" and "Maximum of 14 activity every 2 weeks."

With time defined as

"time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration".

In other words your activity level increases by 14 every two weeks, as long as you have made 14 posts in that two week period. If you have made less than 14 posts, it will increase by the number of posts, and if you have made more than 14 posts, it will increase just by 14 in the two week period.

It should take just over four weeks to graduate from newbie to jr member, another four weeks to make member, and another eight weeks on top of that to make Full Member. As you can see it is a slow process.

You can speed up the process by buying an existing account, and of course there is a mini industry of people who go through the tedious process of creating and building accounts to sell on.

Sa akin pong pagkakaalam ay walang madaliang activity po dito, talagang tyagaan po ang pagpopost hindi po yon nakabase sa ating post, sa pagkakaintindi ko kahit na magpost ka ng 100 sa isang araw ay hindi din siya magiging counted dahil dapat nagpopost ka at least once a day para maging counted sa activity.

Because my friend till me that he earn money in here more than my salary  of my job.  Tagalog naman hehehe.. By the way ako po pala si son gii at pinasali po ako ng kaibigan ko dito sa btc kasi po malaki daw po yong income dito at bukod sa kita marami daw akong matututunan dito.. Sana po matulongan niyo ako about this site kasi po gusto ko po matoto at kumita ng kahit kaunti dito sa btc.

Buti at nakinig ka po sa iyong kaibigan, anyway may chance po na kumita tayo dito bukod sa mga campaign na pay per post or may quota for a week ay marami pa pong mga skills na inooffer dito tulad ng web developer at designing kaya advantage po sayo yon kung magaling ka dun, libot libot ka lang po muna, feel at home and goodluck.

oo legit po ang coins at ang forum sir.. baka po hindi nyu mabuksan kasi nakalimutan nyu po ata ang password nyu sa forum.. nag lagay po ba kayu ng security question o email sa dating account mo? pwede nyu po gamitin nyu tas mag forget password kayu. para po ma retreive ang acoount nyu.. na try nyu na po ba yan?

Hello guys! Newbie here. Malaking tulong itong thread na 'to para sa akin, mas lumawak 'ung kaalaman ko sa bitcoin. Ang hirap nga talaga niyang ipaliwanag, kaya minsan may naiinis kapag may newbie na gusto spoonfeeding. Magbabasa lang ako ng magbabasa katulad ng thread na ganito para mas marami pa kong matutunan. ang alam ko dapat siguro maka 42 na na activity para maging jr member, so dapat post ng post ikaw araw araw, kalkula ko mga 2 months yan, pero diko pa sure ke noobie pa den ako dito hehe
