According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

If I'm right then this is only a elevation of privileges attack known for at least 2 weeks. Unsinged Java app launching with all priviledges of signed app.

Disabling Java plugins in FF are best approach even without knows vulnerabilities. Did not use Java in browser even once in last 2 years.
