Where is the forum based? Is it in the US? If the US prosecutors find there is illegal activities in this forum
The forum can not be held responsible for the actions of the users. It does not work that way.
And that's why there are so many child porn forums. Because you're totally fine if it's your users & not you who put up the kiddypronz.

False comparison.

The chances are currently near zero. Stop trolling. This is not even related to the OP.

And i am about to keep on nagging on this. I am sick of this shit and also of the scam accusations that have there origin in the digital goods section. It might be a hard fight but as this wonderfull screenshot from op shows: it is possible.
As dogie said, the section became really flooded with such and unusable. However, things have 'changed' so let's keep it up.

False analogy.
Analogy's fine.
Theymos can not deny knowing what's happening here (has been informed multiple times). But you, you keep taking it for your owner Smiley

And now ...you're telling me that non-mining nodes are irrelevant, because trivially faked? Shocked
Everything is important, albeit without the miners you can't do anything either. Keep drinking the kool-aid and trying to troll.

Lol, how's that 2+ million-dollar forum software thermos "commissioned" doin', the totally not money-laundering one, the one that's better than SMF in every respect?
Teh tangled web... Just a matter of time...

I have a question. As there was some demand for those products, will people asking to buy accounts (without necessarily implying that they want exclusively hacked accounts) get the benefit of the doubt? Or will WTB threads also be getting deleted?

I have seen tons of illegal stuff being sold here....and when i pointed it out i actually got Questioned by a Mod as to  how i knew it was illegal in their country when the OP stated it in their Product Description as "Smuggling"  <----Isn't Smuggling a Worldwide Term used for an illegal activity to move something to another area without consent or approval of local and international laws?    Hmmm  What did i miss?

Meh.... it's not my ass facing legal ramifications for what people sell here.  Have at it and look the other way.

LOL....That's funny you really believe that forum owners/admins/Mods can't be held liable for what users post?   You can't be serious when you say this.

Who controls and Moderates the forum for what is legal and Illegal?   Answer: You as a Mod and also the Admins and owners of this site.  You are ACCOUNTABLE no matter how hidden you think you are.

What item did you see smuggling on?  I watch them a decent amount don't know i have seen smugglers, but I guess I also was not looking for a smuggler either.

But the forum really cant be responsible for post's.  Yes they can remove them and there is a reporting system to help with this.  You see illegal... report it.  They already took a pretty big stance of removing so many digital goods.  But you can see if you remove one... a lot still pop back up.  Kinda hard to prevent this.

This is rubbish. Let's start with a few points:
1) I'm not an employee of the forum. I don't have to do anything.
2) When deciding if a user has broken the rules, the staff have the right to follow their interpretation of the rules.
3) I'm not obliged to remove illegal goods.
4) You have no evidence of me ever witnessing the sale of such goods.
5) I'm a controlled by a cat.

I can't be held accountable for whatever you do. Good luck proving anything.

I doubt that smuggling would not be deleted.

Unless we ban all account sales, we can't really prevent it.

Lauda, It was Diamonds. I reported it and a mod said i couldn't prove it was illegal in the op's country even though he did say which country he lived in and the diamonds were dug up there. He was not registered with the Diamond industry. the diamonds were not certified and therefore considered "Blood Diamonds" by the United Nations Sanctions..    Eventually it was deleted..I think it took a day or two.

When i said held accountable i meant if you know the item is illegal and turn a Blind eye to it.

Quite unusual, it depends on who was handling the situation (no need to name them publicly). Did the thread eventually get removed?

This is not always easy to judge. Besides, do you think that I (as an example; applies to any staff member) visit the marketplace frequently on the hunt for illegal items? We can't spot everything and decide correctly each time.

The thread was removed but it took a day or two....and no i don't mention names at all. I understand the difficulties of keeping an eye on everyones activities and overall the Mods here do a great job. i was just giving a specific example of my experience.

Thanks
