Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Hi sir Humbertin19_, I am the one lending not the one borrowing. Do I still need a valid collateral for it? Sorry, I'm just new here.

No you don't need a collateral to offer loan. But i don't know who will need 5$ at first and then, if you want a collateral from the borrower to accept the loan, i don't see anyone here that will give it to a new member.

Should not be discouraged to help out but at the same time this site is rampant with scammers.
Best of luck OP I think this could backfire if you are not up to snuff on lending here.

Also whats with the name? It vaguely pops up in my head as a reference to something, just not sure what!

Bro, you want to borrow $5 here and you have a thread open where you want to borrow 0.0015 btc.  Make up your mind, and I'd seriously advise against anyone giving you any bitcoin.  Got a bad feeling.

Yes, I will be careful in lending here. Thanks for the advice. Smiley
Also, this is my username in all the forums, games I played, currently playing, and will be playing. Anything online, there is a huge chance that this is will be my username, so maybe that's why it's familiar to you. Smiley

To all, I'm sorry wasn't able to be online these past few days so I wasn't able to reply to those who are posting here.

I like how this guy just completely blazed over the fact that the poster is the one lending.  People really need to read for a second before posting idiotic statements like this lol

Must have crossed paths once or twice in the online game world. Grin

Honestly think you would make better return trading alt coins till you have more funds. The people that will gravitate to this post will most likely be looking to scam you and you are out once that happens.

Highly unlikely lol, seeing as 95% or more of altcoins go straight down the tubes within the first week on an exchange lol I like to spread trade though in markets that aren't that liquid usually make a decent return but it takes like a day sometimes to get a trade.

Talking about $5 though, you trade in bitcoin and its fee city eatting the profits.
You compare altcoins to lending a random with less than 20 posts.
