The best way to fight this is to prove Bitcoin can be used for GOOD as well.  See my sig!  Or come up with other POSITIVE uses for Bitcoin and implement them.  We must lead by example.

Indeed, i said something along these lines earlier today.

We need people to stand up in the news and shout back, pick a public fight with these numbskulls and show them exactly how stupid they are.

The by product of course would be more publicity for bitcoin, and hopefully some politicians feeling really stupid.
