how do you get a member status?

Always read sticky notes(threads) in each section.They are always helpful.

Basically be active for 60 days straight. Every 14 days that you are active, you are awarded with 14 potential activity. Whenever you post, you claim that potential activity and convert it to real activity. Once you hit 60 activity, you become a member.

increase your activity,be active in forums and dont spamming, to be a member you need to gain 28 activity so the total is 60
