Bitcoin Classic rejected for the sake of SegWit
A call for consensus has been released by Bitcoin roundtable representing key players of bitcoin industry, urging the community to abstain from embracing Bitcoin Classic or any other hard fork.

So it means we are not going to have the block size increased for long time. SegWit is more risky than the simple 2MB increase.
