I think we'll at least test 400, whether we push through it or not is to be seen. China is already $20 above the Bitstamp price so it's only a matter of time before we catch up. IMO we'll either hover around the 395 area for a little bit or surge through 400 to top out somewhere around 420.

No... The Chinese are still having their holidays... Just like 12 days of Christmas, there are 15 days of Chinese New year!

yeah, that is what i was thinking. they are on holiday and as a result the amount of pressure is not going to be enough to push the price up. what you see on their exchanger might even be because they are trying to pull a mtgox.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I think bitcoin prices will actually reach $ 400 and even more this year, a lot of positive news about it, even on facebook and I hope it will be better than yesterday's price and not go down again

I think it will reach 400 again soon, maybe indeed before 16/2. Seems that bitcoin is trying to itch back up for a while now.
Thje problem is potentially that ETH is sucking up a lot of volume and traders drawing form the attention that bitcoin should be getting. Also the profit from those coins may be sold soon (although I still think most trading is done between their own hands).

Yeah sure, many of us think that. But nobody talked about 'this year' in general this topic, we are now speculating if $400 will be crushed by 16th February, which is within a week. I personally think yes.

I think it will still stay below $400 by that time. I think we will see the $400 level within this month, but it will be a very slow rise.

There's a possibility but not in the next 4 days as mentioned on the poll, more like in the next month perhaps. Although at the time of typing this, were up by 0.79% and standing at $380, I believe were going to stay a little longer on it before it starts to gradually go up further more so for now a bit of up and downs which it's like a normal day and not connected with either Chinese people buying BTCitcoin or not.

Yes. Chinese people are still celebrating Chinese New Year. Well, I'd like to receive a red packet containing Bitcoin in one way or another way. However, most adults in my country (at least those I know), do not use Bitcoin. Even if you use Bitcoin, I doubt they will give Bitcoin in a red packet as the price of Bitcoin is really unstable.

poll included. I hope so. We kept largely in the 360/380 range but lately we came to touch the 380 range much more often!!! The begining of a rise probably

I hope we can see 500+ soon, I expect to see it within a month of two Anyways, I have a good hope!

A $20 rise isn't that much, so I can imagine testing $400 in a couple of days, but without the pressure from China I'm not sure if that will be a long lasting price rise.

I see the Italians are having bank problems; are they coming next?
Also I've read that Switzerland is implementing NEGATIVE interest rates on bank holdings, and the FED is "studying" negative interest rates to "counter another economic slump". BUT, it looks like gold is the winner with this news, not btc...yet
