In response to a group of bitcoin mining and exchange companies publicly rejecting the Bitcoin Classic hard fork of the bitcoin software,  Chinese mining company Bitmain appears to be standing firmly behind its intention to test Classic.

The group against the hardfork, calling itself Bitcoin Roundtable, declared in an open letter their rejection of any “contentious hard-fork (Classic/XT or any other)”. The Bitcoin Roundtable letter includes top executives of mining companies  BitFury, BitmainWarranty, BTCC, BTCT/BW, F2Pool, GHash.IO, Genesis Mining and Zoomhash among its signatories.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

BitcoinRountable.com is part of the Coincepts.com project I am setting up.

The so-called "Bitcoin Roundtable" group in the story above is not associated with BitcoinRountable.com, Atlantic City Bitcoin, or Freedom of Information, LLC.  I operate normal companies that are registered and I don't hide the domain registrations under privacy.

Apparently there is also confusion over "Bitmain" and "Bitmain Warranty":
