My understanding is that BTCJam has no withdrawal fee. However, I sent .0015 BTC from BTCJam and only .001 hit my wallet.

Where did the .0005 BTC go? I'm guessing it went to the miners as a transaction fee. Is that the case?

doss that mean the best bet would be to send larger amounts at a time? Or would that increase the fee?

Could you post the transaction id? I have never used BtcJam but from what I have known they do handle the transaction fees for you.But I'm not sure.Post the Txid anyway I will let you know. They don't charge any service fees from lenders.Found this on their website

The amount of information this site wants from people should be alarming and yet I see so many willing to dance with the devil to make a few bits. The day will come when this site goes under and sells all the information.

Fees should really be the last of the worries here. All you need to do is look at the creators of this site and ask if they are the kind of people that will not sell the details on the way out.

500 bits seems a bit high. Usually a 100 bits miner fee should be more than sufficient for the transaction to be included very soon.

I think evanagreer doesn't read about btcjam'c fees.
And this is not an issue as they have mentioned clearly. So its useless to talking about it (?)

There is a 0.0005 BTC withdrawal fee when withdrawing from BTCJam. (Fee Reserve: ฿ 0.000500) I presume that they give 0.0001 to transaction fees and 0.0004 to themselves as commission.
Just a heads up, they actually deduct it from the withdrawal itself, not an additional amount from your account. (If you withdraw 1 BTC, you actually get 0.9995 BTC) I found this out only when I was paying for something with BTCJam, and I paid 0.0005 less because I didn't know that at that time.
