Hey guys,

I'm running a single 5870 on a micro-ATX motherboard, this one to be specific : G31M-ES2L.

It has :

    1 x PCI Express x16 slot
    1 x PCI Express x1 slot
    2 x PCI slots

If I get a x1 PCI Express Riser Card and upgrade my PSU from a 550w to 1000w, can I run 2x5870? The OS it's running on is WinXP 32bit.

yes, but you need something to hold the card up.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
