There was one guy that was successful in the past AFAIK. But the difference was back then, when he started it, the forum was less scammy base on actions of users and he was trusted enough for a project that he gave details very well (can't find the thread and forgot the amount) however if your looking to do the same, I would advise use external websites for this particular purpose as your chances there are higher plus due to your rank, you might end up getting your account neg rated instead.

Yes, many people successfully raised millions of dollars in bitcoin through these foruns, sadly the vast majority end up scamming their investors, the rest end up being a very bad investment.

For quite a while back mainly in 2012 and 2013 there was lots of activity in this section with people raising millions of dollars for various projects or businesses. Almost all of them ended with investors taking huge losses due to scams or the funds being badly managed. Now there is hardly any activity here as people don't want to lose their coins to scams.
