I'm thinking I can delete a folder, because together these folders occupy 177 GB on my hard drive.  147 GB for Armory and 30GB for Bitcoin Core.  Does this sound right?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Your armory folder seems oddly large. Mine only takes up 66 Gb. And your bitcoin folder seems oddly small, mine takes up 80 Gb, but it should be around 60-70 Gb (mine is bigger because I have the txindex enabled.

Both should be around 120GB with default settings. It's more or less what I have. Something's probably wrong with your Armory and you definitely don't have your Core client synced.

Since LevelDB and LMDB are unaware of each other, both DBs can coexist in the same folder. There was some extra checks in place to look for an old DB, but it was also possible to just click through it, so he could have 2 DBs in one folder. Otherwise, he rebuilt the DB so much it eventually bloated, i.e. it doesn't have actually 147GB of data, rather the premapped files are bloated up to that value.

I have a 56GB file named blocks in my Armory/Databases folder.  I'm guessing I need this file?
