we are even always struggling to maintain current bitcoin user due if then there is a price reduction/bitcoin price dropped , a lot of people will leaving . an obvious example happened around my place where bitcoin last year at $500 but then dropped 50% to $250 , my colleague who have invested a lot in bitcoin they just cursing and leaving. that's the real fact how hard to grow bitcoin user.

Using my my country as a case study, I went for the 10-20% category simply because following the trend of what is happening currently the acceptance of bitcoin is growing, but not at a rate to surpass that range and since 2020 is 3 years from now, I dont see any maximum movement in that regards. The category of people involved in bitcoin currently is largely the youth who have the time and also see bitcoin as  a way to make extra bucks but only few percentage of the youths are bold enough to take the risk and to believe its not an illegal move that others might think...

We can't set aside the fact that not everyone that uses bitcoin stays with it, some are sometimes living... But it's good if we are plenty by 2020, that way we won't be seeing a big swing in price...

Promoting bitcoin everywhere could really increase its user and possibly could also make the percentage of its user goes up significantly. Promoting it in blogs, or anywhere would really mean a great help. It doesn't matter if it could create you more money or not when promoting it, the thing is, it should be done. But I think without a big man, a very famous one that promotes bitcoin, it will take time before we go mainstream.

Any Government trying to impose restrictions on bitcoin would be bit troublesome. Either they could accept it or deny it. Controlling it would be different ball game specifically if country who are against anonymity.

I think that 5-10% is kind of unrealistic number. If bitcoin have that big amount of users then bitcoin might be really popular anywhere but the fact is the opposite, there's no reliable data indeed but there might an accurate prediction existed, for your information 5% of population is 375 millions people

Who says that 5-10% or world's population is using bitcoins right now? That is a really huge number and i don't think we can even reach that till 2020, and if we could reach 5% in that year then it would be a great success for bitcoin in my opinion. Don't consider world a country.

Perfectly right. People in internet who knows about bitcoin will utilize and spread it around the world in some months if the 5 % people are using it. We could say in 2020 may it reach to 2 to 5 percent people.

I've been running a poll for some time now about the value of 1 bitcoin by 2020 and it's safe to say a lot of different opinions and guesses are made.
This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this.

For me by that time the percentage average would be 70-80%, I do believe in that year many of the of the bitcoin users will rise up and will be added into bitcoin community count. I guess this premonition of mine will be happen by that time has come.
