I'm helping a friend set up a site.
We used Magento.
Mtgox's extension sucks, and after waiting several weeks for them to fix it, it seems they couldn't be bothered.
Bitpay seems alright, but it's 4% deposit to Canada, and 1% if just transfering.
The products have very small profit margin, so even 1% hurts.
Wondering if there was an easy way to add a simple checkout where the user could just send their bitcoins at the end manually,
and order details are sent.
Transactions can optionally carry transaction fees. Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get the fee. The Bitcoin client will sometimes force you to pay a fee when it thinks that no miner will accept your transaction otherwise.

I published a free Bitcoin extension to Magento Connect.
You need to run a bitcoind server on your web hosting. This uses the JSON-RPC approach. - Cold storage web wallet for Bitcoin.
