These threads should be bannable offenses.

Apparently no one on this forum cares if it becomes a total shithole. I made a thread suggesting that we moderate this forum and so far all I'm getting is hostility.

Tips are appreciated (very tiny tips are perfectly okay!) 13gDRynPfLH3NNAz3nVyU3k3mYVcfeiQuF
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I think this thread should be deleted since the title was a complete lie. At no point did it reach anywhere near 18 today. It scares people who might not have opened it.

Moderation is definitely needed. The forum is also getting really slow for me, without a server upgrade this won't survive the next wave of users, just like Mt Gox.

the forum is moderated - and pretty well, too.  if you've ever done it (moderation) you know how excruciatingly difficult that is.

i tend to agree with mintaka though - there should be bannable offenses.  a power which should be used only occasionally - but it should be used.

I agree with the two statements, there should be heavy moderation on the forums.

I called someone "spineless" yesterday, clearly an ad hominem attack, not very productive but it felt good. Should I be punished?
