Well, if being serious about creating your own religion, you'd better start from reading works on religious studies to understand what are the main aspects of any religion, how religion influences one's life etc. Then you may read a bit about different tribal religions. It's easier to analyze them than widespread ones. Then you formulate your main ideas and try gathering people to talk about them. Together you may write The Book of your religion. Congrats! You did it

You have to first explain what your religion is all about. Next, create a blog surrounding and explaining the practices of said religion. Start fundraisers I suppose. Just do what you can to work it out. Something tells me though that starting a religion isn't just like starting a business.
