Welcome, i am Lukas Sidwa.
I have small rig (2x7970) etc. That dosn`t meter.
Now i am intrested to buy some ASIC and i see a lot of scam`s (BFL is mb biggest SCAM too).
I was send a msg to "Institute of Electron Technology" in Poland and they said they could perform ASIC included with FPGA, but not to many copies (I asked by 1000).
I dont know now price of this.
The price depends on the scale of performance (SMLAER = more power).
This is not SCAM, becouse i talked with real people who have been through a lot of these projects (ASIC).
Any one is interested??
How i can collect people?
And how i can collect the money? (in safe way)

Talk some more with the lab guys and get them interested enough to do a simulated asic. Let them do the selling and advertising if they want to make them, you can get paied as their cosultant if they are nice.
How about the polmine crowd? They surely would buy some.

ASIC has been around for decades and there are plenty of places which have produced many of them. What is new is designing ASICs for Bitcoin mining and the people you talked to do not have experience in that. It's not as simple as saying "make me 1000 Bitcoin mining ASICs" because they need to design the product first and the development costs are going to be significant. You're at least going to have to come up with a design and specifications before anyone's going to take you seriously, and it's pretty unlikely any new player entering the ASIC market is going to be able to fund development with customer pre-orders. |
All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

This is long way, but everything is possible.
If you can't even give specifications for what you're going to ask these people to produce, then you're not equipped to become an ASIC vendor and nobody's going to trust you with their money. Once any Bitcoin mining ASICs hit the market, people aren't going to be willing to place pre-orders. You're going to have to find investors to fund the development costs for your ASICs and then recoup those costs from sales. You might be able to use the ASICMiner model of investment for funding development, but first you'd have to convince people that you have the slightest clue about technology and the type of ASIC unit you'd be aiming to develop and so far you haven't said a single thing which suggests that you are technologically competent enough to undertake such a venture. You seem to be under the mistaken impression that you can just order these units off the shelf from any ASIC producer and that's simply not the case. |

I have a few questions though: -2) Can they be liquid cooled or do I have to keep them in a fridge? -1) Do they run off ordinary electric and are compatible with ordinary telephone lines/broadband? 0) Do they come with instructions in Engligh? 1) Do you accept refunds on the deposits? 2) Do they come in different colours? If so I'd like a blue one, a grey one for my nan, a pink one for my gay dog. 3) Can I collect them in person from Poland (I have my own car)? 4) Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party? |
