Posted a thread in Technical Support and had it moved to Offtopic. Have no issue with this just presumed Technical Support was for all aspects and not just transaction questions related to bitcoin.

Is there a thread that explains what Subforum is what besides the blurb in the front page?
Sorry about the question if this has been asked a million times.

Looked in bitcoin forum and beginners & Help with no avail.

Can you show us your post? Maybe it really was off-topic, and only on-topic to you, we'll see.

Not really a question about my post, just did not want to do it again. But maybe it will help show how correct I am in my assessment. Cheesy

Think some of the problem  may be using the wrong jargon due to being a Apple user mostly.

Your question was about Chrome, Java and Flash.
Technical section should be in reference to Bitcoin/bitcoin.
It seems you were asking about how to get Flash to work, for a gambling site.

You are not asking for assistance with Bitcoin/bitcoin, but with Flash Player.

The Off-topic section is probably the correct one, within this forum.

To be clear I am not looking for a fight, just asking if there is a run down of each sub-forum so I do post in the right section.
Just gave the thread as a backdrop to how I can go into the wrong forum if I am not sure where something needs to be.

I didn't think you were looking for a fight.
Usually when someone is mad about a thread being moved, there are some WTFs and OMGs!!!!

Near the end of the first post of this thread, the section titled : "Guidelines for Threads".

Thats what I am looking for, perfect!

Trying to show up less in offtopic and get more into how bitcoin works. Really did not want to end up making more work for the mods and pissing off the ole folks in the house.

Thanks for the link. Smiley
