From a miners perspective this profitability crashed hard.

The current hashrate is way too high compared to price, to be profitable to mine with gpu.
This will adjust.

But it has been a golden time from gpuminer release until now.



Today 10x 380s mining for 24h will give you apx:

ETH: 0.01636  BTC (198BSD)
BSD: 0.01185  BTC (144BSD)

Miners need to push the price higher, that's all.....

Won't take long. A few minutes ago someone just bought 4.5btc worth in one buy, whales coming in?

It was a lame attempt at humor as miners are always dumping into supply.  Never figured out why they did not hold and allow price to rise, but guess the quick buck is easier and less risky.

  My modest opinion, formed on my personal experience, is that this project need little bit futuristic web presentation. First visual impression of regular internet user, like i am, need to be much stronger than current one. Also, IMO, it need to have a big photo of it`s own face, beautiful and powerful equilibrium symbol.

Cheap price of just 8k satoshis.What do you guys think the price will be headed this year?  

While I think nobody really knows but all the signs point to a much higher price this year. Apart from all the technical stuff and the timing as we are now come into a time where there are serious doubts about Bitcoin long term future especially in terms of scalability and therefore as a serious payment processor, so people are looking at alternatives. Also it's simply a better version of Dash, dark send has been speeded up and just about all the specs have been improved on by the developer.

I am also very confident in the way the price has been rising, not too much which is just a pump and dump but steadily the coin is climbing. I think we are building a base now and we will I'm sure see 2m and then 5-10m market cap in the next few months. If so I think Bitsend really could be a big player and is very likely in my opinion be in the top 20 later this year.


It's also an amazing opportunity for people to get into a coin with a great future at a low price, a few Bitcoin invested now could be a small fortune later this year IMO.

I was dumb.  Got into DASH very early, convinced a bunch of ppl to buy it, and then sold mine for newer coins.  Very dumb move that I get reminded of every time a friend cashes out now!

I do like the larger supply here.  DASH will run into a liquidity problem in the long run.  They can fix it, but would be better is 2X the float, you know, kinda like BSD.

edit: That was my point a few post ago about the similar number of wallets created at this early stage.  Large amounts of wallets = big base = good rises in price.

Well, DASH grew quicker, but in a time with much less competition.  This one has good Dev, distribution, and now interest.  Not quite the balls to the wall buy in that DASH had in the beginning, but that may turn out to be better long term. 

I actually think BSD is exactly what the open source should be.  Take a coin, add value somehow, and let it be judged on it's own at that point.

Like what this one is doing or not, much more leeway now than DASH will have with how big it has gotten.  Make another community and following and let it be it's own.
