I deposited some BTC on BTC-e, then I decided to withdraw it. It told me that I had to wait 3 days before I can withdraw?  Huh Huh What is that for? Besides, the fee is ridiculous(.001 BTC transaction fee). I kind of want my BTC quick, even though it's only 0.019 BTC.

I don't understand why an exchange retains your bitcoins 3 days. I can undertand that if you want to receive it on fiat money by bank transference they need time, but for a bitcoin transaction?? Its the first exchange that i see that holds your bitcoin before withdraw.

That is not a good policy thanks for letting every body knows, all the exchnages I have an account are all instant withdraws the longest wait is only hours even if you have a new account they should transfer it but not 3 days this give their company a bad reputation

I didn't realize they had that wait time.  Is this just because you're a new user or is it for everybody?

Have you tried the withdraw to Btc-e codes ? You can try few exchangers out there who can exchange btc-e codes to bitcoin if you want a quick withdraw

New users or first time withdrawal most likely. That's how I've seen exchanges I've been on operate.
I'm trying to figure out why you would do this with Bitcoin deposit, but I can't come up with anything.

I think the same policy is if you change your password. It s about protection, no need to complain about that.

For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com

I think I got the reason behind happening these things. This is actually a security feature of them
If you create your account or resets password then your account gets locked for 3 days for any kind of withdrawals to happen
I think this is not limited to password change only but not sure about that

This is not any kind of shit feature. This prevents our account from hackers. You will be notified with an email for any changes. If that was not you then you need to contact support of Btc-e.
Just let the timer resets back to 0 and you will be able to withdraw again

And there also a way to decrease withdrawal fees. If you want then I can share that as well

May by this waiting period is to preventing people from using the exchange as a way to mix their bitcoin as they create new accounts and make deposit and withdraw in the same day.
So I do not blame them for this policy

Thank you for this explanation; I think it makes sense (I need to learn more about mixing)
They should at least have a countdown timer in the user's profile.
