Is it still "safe" to bet on tennis? I keep hearing things about arranged matches etc
I tried for a while, but everything seems so hard to predict. I keep seeing the underdogs beating favorites by such a big margin sometimes, and that is something that it's just not possible in football for example.

There's been some reports about fixed matches. I don't think it happens very often though & especially not between the top players. There's too much competition prize money at stake to throw matches.

I like to believe that, but with so much money in the betting market, even they can make lot's of money with an arranged match. It's quite easy to conceal in tennis, since it's easy to miss a key point etc, and they can make so much maney in trading etc I just lost my faith in tennis.
In football it's much harder I think, because key points to change the odds, are not so common, as they are in tennis, and it's much harder to fake one.

You see, you must be known to a sport before you bet on it. I always prefer to gamble on things which are predicted by others and loved by me. If you only gamble on predictions, you wont have any fun, you will just win/loose.

Yes, in tennis it is some times we think very easy to guess the winner based on there ranking system but some times low rank guys can out perform and can win the match. So it always good to bet small amounts to avoid big loses in sports betting. Also on these high ranking guys, the odds will be small so later recover loses we may need a lot of time. Bet carefully.

I am waiting for match between Tomic and Thiem, both of them are good players. I would love to see Thiem winning though, just because I love his attitude and come on guys he is still young and delivering a lot for that age.

I think Tomic can win against Wawrinka and make a big upset here, he easily beaten Dolgopolov, who was in the form of his life, well Tomic at his best is unstoppable ! You cant even see him loose against Djoker at his best.

I think the match between Dominic Thiem vs Bernard Tomic will be very interesting, the young guns are all for it. While Bernard is a cool guy, the boy Thiem is as furious and fast as a rocket !

Wawrinka on his best day can defeat anyone, he was one of the 2 persons last year who defeated Djokovic, though we can add Feliciano Lopez to that list as the first person to do so this year but Novak was having some problems with his eye.

When is the next major tournament, Wimbledon is in the UK summer but isn't there one more Grand Slam before that?

Its a very tight match, but unfortunately Bouchard lost the match at the very end, but it is a good match played by both players,
