I submitted Orlycoin to:

Bloombit - sent an e-mail to support
C-CEX - request to get on voting list
Cryptopia - request to get on voting list
Safecex - request to get on voting list

Bittrex was not contacted yet, I think the Owl has to grow first

Turing (again) paid the fee for Yobit so I guess Orly will get there first, if it gets anywhere.

If you know an exchange that I forgot to contact, let me know!
If you run an exchange and want to add Orlycoin, let me know and I'll add it to the OP!

If you run a pool and want to add Orlycoin, let me know and I'll add it to the OP!

polo??

PoloniEx would have a good laugh  Grin

hey man haha never know ;p
if theres the volume, then a member pulls the trigger for their 3btc listing it could happen! Grin
call me optimistic lol

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Don't forget to keep mining Orlycoin!

Exchanges prefer coins with good miningsupport and a high difficulty.

I submitted Orlycoin to:

Bloombit - sent an e-mail to support - they charge 1 BTC for listing a coin
C-CEX - request to get on voting list
Cryptopia - request to get on voting list
Safecex - request to get on voting list
Bluetrade - opened a support ticket with "coin suggestion"

Yes, it's a joke coin based on an old meme, and right now it lacks everything to compete with... Any other crypto you can name. But that's also how Dogecoin started, I don't expect this one being as successful but I like the idea of funcoins, they can become popular amongst people who aren't into crypto and create a nice community with devs, games, a marketplace, fun and motivated people, ... That's how I became myself a crypto addict.

But right now, it looks like a bunch of miners expecting an exchange to accept a coin listing which will be pumped and dumped to death on arrival. There should be more to it, if you don't have motivated and experienced devs, go look for partners which are already active in the crypto community and ask for help. Open to other people who aren't on bitcointalk or reddit, launch a faucet and a small howto guide on a website, promote on social networks. These things should have been done by now, if it has already then it needs a lot more...

Another problem: People involved (miners) don't even want to talk about it, as they want their low difficulty to stay. That's why other means of distribution should be looked into.

You shouldn't leave this coin as it is right now or the only thing you'll get are a bunch of angry bagholders pissed at you.

Thanks for your response!

I think the progressive block reward should prevent it from becoming dumped, there's still onlly a low amount of coins in circulation Smiley
And miners support the network so I understand if they sell to cover their costs.

For now, getting it on 1 or 2 exchanges is my main goal. After that, let's see where the owl flies.
I have been thinking about a faucet, there's no clear roadmap but if there was, a faucet would be on it.

The Orlycoin website and Bitcointalk may be centralized, Orlycoin isn't: so if you have a great idea, you could just do it! It's not my coin, like Bitcoin isn't Satoshi's coin.

I like Orlycoin to be community driven, it should not all depend on me. I could get hit by a car (though I'm very careful).

Quote from: Wikipedia
owls share an innate ability to fly almost silently

That explains why this beast of an altcoin is flying under the radar. But I think many of us already know where it's headed.

Waiting for response... Exchanges don't respond quick. Bloombit was quick though.
