Highly speculative thread here.

 Grin

Is there some mega-brain out there who would like to estimate how soaked this market can be with USD and other currencies before another competitor pops up and there is a mass rush to that currency?

Although I don't see any conceivable way that Bitcoin is going to be shut down I also have no illusions that it could hit a market capitalization of a Trillion USD or something without ByteCoin, CarrotCoin, etc springing up.

Probably in anywhere from 1-3 years from now they'll be 3 or 4 of these currencies at relatively stable rates since they would be competing against each other.

Thoughts?

I'll keep my politics out of your economics if you keep your economics out of my politics.
