There are quite a few Bitcoin charting sites but only a handful are worth a look. Below is a digest and review of the best ways to monitor the price of Bitcoin on the web, Android and iOS. Even if you only end up using one of these charting sites, it’s helpful to keep a list of them because when the price of Bitcoin gets hairy like it did April, the main charting sites get swamped and their servers grind to a halt.

Bitcoinity has reliable uptime when Bitcoins price is exploding or imploding (that was a fun day), and a well thought out interface with the option to switch to dark mode. Bitcoin paranoid is not an app or a widget for your home screen but a service that runs in your notification bar. Not only does it off a number of exchanges to check but has a setting that fetches the latest price every ten seconds, which does a number on your battery. If you are constantly checking the price of Bitcoin and are on the go, this is the app for you.
