Thousands of companies around the world accept Bitcoin as payment. Many of those are set up to immediately convert Bitcoin into fiat currency. OPSkins, an online marketplace of digital gaming skins, demonstrates the value of pairing a digital currency with a digital economy and is setting a new standard for how businesses should integrate with Bitcoin.
OPSkins has grown quickly into the most active marketplace for buying and selling virtual items, specifically for Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2.
"The gaming community around OPSkins is the perfect group to demonstrate the power of Bitcoin as the most secure payment method for digital purchases," said BitPay Senior Sales Engineer and masspay product lead Corey Glaze in a statement to Bitcoin Magazine.

If this is not enough proof for other gaming sites to adopt Bitcoin, I would not know what is. Kids gets pocket money, but they not allowed to use credit cards.. Bitcoin

enables them to spend that money on the stuff they enjoy, gaming. The other target market is those people who got scammed with chargebacks.. {credit cards}

There is a huge untapped gaming market out there, and OPSkins are only getting a small portion of that now.  Grin

Agree that the gaming market could be huge for Bitcoin.
Kids learn and adopt pretty fast.
Furthermore due to push mechanism there is no risk to get stolen by identity theft etc.
I'm pretty sure in a few years this is a market crypto currencies and hopefully Bitcoin will dominate.

Gaming is KEY to more Bitcoin adoption.  Agreed that the kids learn fast and they like things to be simple, not a lot of fuss like dirty old fiat.  More gaming accepting BTC = more users, more users that tell their friends.

I love Bitcoin
