Those who are lucky in raffle draws or lottery could join if you can convince them that they can trust you. For me, I have never won a single ticket in my whole life so I am not going to try this one now. I am much luckier doing dice or plinko.

But how will you know if you are really lucky on raffle or not? Because if you never try it you will never know the result then. And by trying a couple of times doesnt determine that you not lucky because it is luck games. And all people will have this kind of problem, money problem. Most of them which have more money will have a higher chance to win it but the rest just depends on their luck

This isn't a bad idea, but there is already too many forum-based lottery game that failed miserably.

The only problem I got is that I could still play with an alt and then make enough dran on random.org to make me win, so does anyone have an idea on how I could draw a random number and prove every one it was a true random unique draw and not my 56th try to draw my number? ^^

How about if a trusted third-party draw the number for you? But, IMO, you should use provably fair system to draw the number.

i don't know about miserably but i have seen many topics in this section about lottery on the forum and none of them stayer around and many of them could not get any attention at all, use search to find them.

i think lottery is better be done on a website rather than forum and escrow and live drawing of the winning number and streaming the video is a must have.

i like the idea of lottery in bitcoin, but i like partecipate only if the prizee is very big, like national lottery with thousand and thousand of ticket sell.
The problem is every time the same, not only provably fair but confidence to the owner.
i think buy ticker only if the owner is any administrator of bitcointalk or Stunna

I would be very interested I think its a pretty good idea because the community gets closer because of this in my opinion, and its will also attract people because you can win money with it.
Of course its how more people will like this idea and will go for it how more money there is to win at the end.

I myself is very interested,i even want to make one website for bitcoin lottery, but after some research i found the response for the lottery is quite low so i cancel making the website, but if you want to make one, i am interested in playing the lottery

You should check out https://www.reddit.com/r/millionairemakers/.  They hold a drawing each month (its's not technically a lottery because you don't have to pay to enter) and they use an algorithm that is dependent on the blockchain (I'm not sure exactly how it works).  If you enter into the drawing, you are supposed to pay a dollar to whoever wins.  I think they get around tax/legal problems by not calling it a lottery and not making people pay before they enter.  Because of this a lot of people don't give their dollar even though they enter.  I've been participating each month for a while now.

You know you are lucky when you when a couple of raffles. Like this friend of mine who won grand prize in two consecutive christmas raffles.

But that doesnt guarantee that your friend win the next raffle because this raffle thing is pure luck or may be you can still boost your winning chance by buying it again with your money but still that is not a guarantee and I dont think your friend could keep on winning it unless it is not provably fair

Website or escrow I guess it is just the same both of it will have a chance to scam it anyway because it is a big money you got there so they still can hypnotized by the huge money there. Unless you really using some reputable escrow with great trust I think this will minimize your money being stole

I think its a good thing to have some lottery over here but it has to attract as much people as possible on the whole forums. You do not have to bet with high numbers or gamble just pick a number and you will maybe win a lot of bitcoins.

Also there has to be many people in the lottery so you will never have to pay a lot to get in the lottery.

I suggest you should first try to contact the admins of this sites maybe they can help you instead. In terms of drawing there were really a lot of live chats that you can use but if you don't want to reveal your face then i think you should find another idea.

I was wondering, would you be interested in a bitcointalk.org lottery?

I didn't saw any and I'd like to organize one.
It could be a rather easy daily thread. Every day you can come and buy any amount of tickets you want at 0.01 btc then we could draw a number. Or maybe do it on a larger scale to have bigger prizes!

I'm totally willing to organize this  and I could send enough funds to a trusted escrow so you can be sure I'm not going to run away with the coins xD
Like if I escrow 1 btc it means I could sell until 1 btc worth of tickets without you to be worried of me running away!

i think it will be fun if there is a lottery on here, but i would love to give suggestion, the price don't have too expensive because not all people on here have much bitcoin and they can't join too if the price is to expensive. maybe in just 0.001 and the limit participant is 100 people, and then if its reach 100 people, the lottery will start begin to choose the winners number. after that, the lottery will start a new round and so on.

 I will instead of using your energies on this idea of lottery better come out with something more interesting which people like. I am regular player of lottery but physical one to win some jackpot not few cents. You can take more time to make research and missing features of current gambling sites can be plus point for you. People will jump to participate or play if you have something unique instead of lottery idea. Though thread is outdated but it still can guide new persons to understand what bitcointalk community want and what don't want like lottery concept. It is good to put feed back for someone who have similar idea.
