Bitcoins is not a need but an option. We can survive without bitcoin, we can buy and sell without bitCoin. The use of bitcoin is just another option who wants to use an alternative currency online. And for me bitcoins is another opportunity to provide my family with another source of income. With bitcoins I can invest and earn without leaving the house. Bitcoin is an option to provide my family's needs

I agree bitcoin is not a need but an option.  But not all can buy online without bitcoin.  There are several people who are not qualified for a visa card or credit card.  So these people who wanted to buy online now have another option to buy them thru bitcoin.

That's true people who are not eligible for bitcoin can now easily purchase online using bitcoin, but the fact is still many sites don't accept bitcoin as a mode of payment and people who don't have credit cards will prefer to go for cash on delivery.

We just need to have patience. It takes time before more merchants are starting to accept Bitcoin. It's of course great to have many online shops accepting Bitcoin, but I am quite sure that if local stores start to accept Bitcoin more, that the adoption will increase significantly. That's what people are waiting for. Local stores to buy their daily needs.

i need to use bitcoin because we don't have international credit card in my country bitcoin have allowed me to make international payment and open to me the online shop to help me in my work and to buy all i need that is why i use bitcoin.

for me a lot of other people bitcoin is not an option but it is a need as with bitcoin I am earning a full income of me and without it I am earning a very less amount of money monthly which is unable to fulfill our needs.

Even though I agree with this comment and a lot of other comments that have been posted, I think we need Bitcoin because we need to move forward in life.  When you do a bank wire, it costs upwards of $50 per transaction and you have to pay to receive them also.  We need something better than that and Bitcoin is that something.

In fact, I think that Bitcoin is even more special and important than just new technology or technological sophistication.
It's more like revolution or way of life, how I see it.
Until now, for average people was very difficult to achieve financial freedom or get rid from banks
Banks and big financial institutions monopolized finance and money in the world.
Now, for the first time, people can bypass banks and financial institutions and control directly their money, and also achieve their financial dreams.
Bitcoin is decentralized, no government or banks involved, and because of this everyone should use Bitcoin.

I'm literally excited for when bitcoin is finally considered/announced officially as one of the global currencies so I can say to people "Told you so!" when they laughed at me for having bitcoins. It's only a matter of time and adoption when it happens.

We are not quite in the "need to use BTC" stage yet. At most, it's an alternative to what we are all accustomed to. But it's a good alternative that can as your own bank, in which you alone have control.
