the descendants of Atlas could very well look back in 20 years and think that their brothers from 2016 were treated not that good thanks to modern AI  Roll Eyes

Well, they´ve taken over much of manufacturing jobs, next it´ll be service jobs. What then for humans? This is something totally new, machines with AI. It´s quite advanced already, imagine how it´ll be in 20-30 years.

A 19-Year-Old Made A Free Robot Lawyer That Has Appealed $3M In Parking Tickets

Hiring a lawyer for a parking-ticket appeal is not only a headache, but it can also cost more than the ticket itself. Depending on the case and the lawyer, an appeal -- a legal process where you argue out of paying the fine -- can cost between $400 to $900. But with the help of a robot made by British programmer Joshua Browder, 19, it costs nothing. Browder's bot handles questions about parking-ticket appeals in the UK. Since launching in late 2015, it has successfully appealed $3 million worth of tickets. He is cutting into the government trough and lawyers' jobs. That's a double whammy. How long is it before the bar association and government get automated lawyers disqualified?

The White House, in a stunning report to Congress this week, put the probability at 83 percent that a worker making less than $20 an hour in 2010 will eventually lose his job to a machine. Even workers making as much as $40 an hour face odds of 31 percent.

Of course. Jobs are meant to disappear.

Don't let big companies fool you, you should be paid more working less, because technologies evolved in a way to make humans work less and less!

It's enough for the video to remain online. When AI will take over, it will see the cruelty of humans.

People worrying about jobs...there will just be new jobs to replace the old jobs.

We used to have people who's job was to copy books by hand. They did not all die when it was automated. Telephone operators used to route your call, then it was automated. There was not a widespread epidemic of dying telephone operators.

As technology advances, we are able to do more. And that requires more people.

People used to wake up, spend all day either gathering their food or preparing the food or preparing to get through winter. Now we spend a tiny percentage of our productivity on feeding ourselves giving us time for tons of other things.

Technology will just ensure that even less of our productivity is spent on our essential needs.

Also true. Along with IT and the internet a lot of new jobs appeared, that were not necessary or known until that.

Human jobs are not so important, new jobs will appear this is true!

This will be used for killing people no doubt. Perfect soldier, no questions just seek and destroy!
If you ask me i love technology. but story will be the same as for the atomic power.
Primary use will be for destruction!

Humans are not used for most modern warfare anyway, other than being the guy 3000 miles away pulling the trigger.
