"Something" in this case should probably equal paying back the money he owes along with a reason why he hasn't up until now.  I think that's what inquiring minds want to know.

Also in his address remains 0.16 BTC... He could easily pay back with that BTC.

I'm not sure if someone else is in control of his account. According to the seclog, he hasn't changed his password at all lately (at least in the last month). If the account had been taken over by someone else, I suspect they would've changed the password by now.

Hmm... It might be hacked. But I can't really think of anyone that would hack an account that has defaulted on a loan with neg trust? I don't understand.
