Gridseed Blade CRITICAL ERROR HELP MEE!0

I just purchased this Gridseed blade miner from ebay for around $130 and i am running Ubuntu linux (Newest version) on a laptop as my server to handle the alt coins im mining. I am currently mining digibyte coins and after about 15 minutes of mining using cgminer it crashes and says "GSD0 has been idle for 60 seconds. Declaring SICK" and about a second later again with GSD1.

the command im using to run cgminer

./cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://digihash.co:3009 -u Worker -p x --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=750,chips=40,modules=2,btc=16 --usb 3:*

Here is what I have tried in order to troubleshoot.

I have tried switching to windows resulting in the same error thinking my gridseed were having some driver issue with linux.
I tried switching the power supply.
I have tried reinstalling ubuntu linux.
I tried switching to debian linux.
I tried swapping the usb cables for the miner.

No of these things have been able to fix this issue. I do not belive it is a bad miner unless i did something to damage it. When out of the box the hash rate worked fine at its 5.2mh/s that it is suppost to be at. For some reason tho this is now happening. Please help me!

While the Gridseed blades may have defaulted to 750 Mhz, that was actually a pretty strong overclock given the VERY WEAK power setup on those things.
 Try dropping to 600Mhz or so and see if the problem continues.

I will let this run while i am at work to see if this makes any difference. I ran it overnight at 700mhz and it still crashed. Moved it down to 600mhz and we will see.

Ran this at work and it crashed at around 3 hours after starting it. I checked the temps and they are just above room temp. What could this be. To power these things im using 2 12v 6amp chargers that fit. actually they are from my zeus blizzard miner that I retired when I got the blade.

I presume that's 6 amps per side on the blades - which is a bit marginal, but *should* be enough at the frequencies you're running them at if you're keeping the PS cool and they're reliable designs.

 I ran a couple of my non-fan blade sides on Zoomhash's 7-amp bricks for a long time without issues, but I had fans blowing on the bricks for better cooling.

Get yourself a cheap DMM (digital multimeter) and check the voltage that you feed into the miners over some time (especially at the point when they become bad).

If it falls below ~11.75 or lower this might be the root of your problem. A lot of power supplies can't deliver their nominal amperage over a longer period of time.

Also make sure you check how much voltage you loose on your 12V connection cables (measure voltage on the power supply side and on the miner side at the connector), a badly wired connection can also get warm and have significant voltage drop. Be careful when doing this, it is easy to short the power supply and damage your power supply and blade (as well as the computer that is connected by USB).
