Trading is like gambling. But in terms of risks they are very different from each other. In gambling your only chance of winning is only 50/50, also the house edge is your opponent. But in trading, you can minimize it depending on what you are trading.
That's true ,win or lose is the only result in gambling but it is good to play it makes you enjoy playing and this more frequently lose unlike trading you can manage your profits and lose and there's a higher chance for you to earn if you know how to trade well.
Losing cannot be avoided as we are in gambling, we lose or win but what is important is we are getting our goal. If your goal is to make money then we should understand that it is hard to win in gambling and we have a bigger chance of losing than winning. Better gamble for fun so no worries when you lose.
the more time we engage with this things the more matured we can be possibility to learn finding ways to earn will be our goal so better to control and be patience in searching for your success trading can be like sort of gambling if you don't know what you are doing but if you are fully equipped you will learn the difference between the two.

I agree with your opinion in gambling only has chance for winning 50/50, but i don't too agree trading is like gambling because at least on trading we can do cut lost and on gambling we can not do that.

Well you can compare trading to gambling games such as poker. Luck still is a factor, but experience has more weight in order to be successful. It doesn't rely on 50/50 chances although sometimes, luck will determine if you'll profit or lose earnings

That's the point. For every player/trader it will be different.
For example we can take good trader that never play poker. He for sure will say that gambling is gambling, trading is trading, but when we take good poker player, but without experience in trading - for him trading will be more risky than poker - and what is gambling now? Smiley

I don't think that gambling has a chance for winning with that 50/50 ratio. Because as we are going to depend with our luck sometimes is can be 10/100.

I just agree with trading considered as gambling because of the risk that you are going to take with it. But for the whole game itself, trading is really different.

You will going to depend on your skills, timing, knowledge and luck with trading, unlike in gambling you only need money and luck.

As my investigation right now or based on my experience this past few weeks i considered that all activities like uhm trading , gambling , and investing are needs to take risk, Because of your are not going to take those risk you can't able to grow your bitcoins , You need to take those high risk sometimes if you really want to grow your bitcoin i considered that trading as gambling too where we could lose money there but it can be minimize because we can sell it for the half price.
well if you are not hurrying up you can still wait for the price rebound unlike in gambling after losing your money you need to place bet again, while in trading if you are supporting good quality project there's always possibility to regain your loses.

Yes, trading is more like that if we have good patience and can hold for long time than nothing can be good than this, because it all depend on this in which project we are involved and what is the potential behind this, I am pretty sure trading will be very profitable if we keep things in mind.
Me too I do believe that trading is considered as gambling and every type of investment there is going to be needed to take a risk.

But it is going to be reliable if you are going to try trading and going to make it as source of profit rather than if you are going to make gambling as source.

You just need to be patience as you trade.

As an investor, we need to understand that we need to take the risk to be able to make money. It is either we loss or take profits depends on our ability to manage our investment, but being ready to accept the possible outcome is very important for every investors.

Trading is gambling, trading is more winning, so gambling is more winning, right?

You are writing nonsense, trading is full time job and lots of people are living from trading, but we can't say lots of people are living from gambling. Those two things can't be compared.

Trading without any knowledge is betting on your luck so that makes it not much difference from gambling as you dont have control over the results. However, if you do your research and trade with high chance of success, you can gain easily.

This is very unusual that a person is going to enter trading without knowledge but we can't deny that there are some incidents that are happening that way. Trading is really a gambling because of the risk you are going to take as you gamble then that is going to be a hard way to get some assured profit and investments are risky as gamble is.

it is not unusual when it comes to trading altcoins and bitcoin because the exchange sites are allowing people to start trading with a small amount. and this very simple difference makes it so that many people enter trading market without any knowledge and thinking they can become rich with it.
This more depends on what sort of trading we are doing.
Suppose we are just investing in new alt coins then I think no knowledge can save you from scam ICO's and all. While if you trade on bitcoins price then you are slowly capable of knowing when the price goes up and when it goes down.

Hey people,

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

I wouldnt consider trading bitcoins on an exchange the same thing as gambling. Gambling involves a certain FIXED percentage change of you winning.

While trading is never a fixed chance. in gambling you usually know the odds of you winning but that doesnt apply in trading.
Also trading includes a ton of skill and intuition of when to buy/sell, while gambling is pure luck (excluding poker).

Trading is for sure lottery for every person that make first steps (each of us once had to start). So we can say that for beginners it is gambling. Everything depends from experience and knowledge. This same is with gambling - old gamblers know, that no one will be rich from gambling Smiley

No one starts to be good as the professionals, we all start experimenting things to test our capability and even try to consider our luck if possible. Trading is only considered as a hard way of making money if we are not consistently making money on it and the journey alone is not that easy if you want to be successful, you have to understand that it is like a real life business that you need to work hard to succeed.

Trading is only considered as a hard way of making money if we are not consistently making money on it and the journey alone is not that easy if you want to be successful, you have to understand that it is like a real life business that you need to work hard to succeed.
completely right if we want to be more successful we need to make more focus on what we are doing, the more you attached yourself the more
learning you might get and that can be an edge to earn more.

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

I want to be a good trader but I do not have the right amount of money to start seriously, I guess money is very important because when you have one you will really make it serious and will make you will end up profitable in trading, with lesser capital you will not treat it seriously.

Yes because theres a risk also in trading maybe you can lose your money like gambling so i consider that trading as gambling. But in trading if you lose somd you can recover it fast if you have a capital try to buy 3-4 different altcoins then you keep it in a long term. That is the best in trading if you lose somd you can get recover it fast.
the actual gambling and trading are different, even very different. losses in trading, you can still be minimized if you have a good analysis. so you sell the coins that you have before the price is really down, so you're not too lose in this case. but in gambling, you will not be able to minimize the risk that you have, because when you lose in a casino, then bet all the money you would have spent. so, perhaps in terms of making BTC become more in a short time with minimum risk, trading may still be better
In trading you can improve your chances to make a profit with the right skill, knowledge and tools, while in gambling most of the time there is nothing you can do to change the odds of winning.
I agree with you, Because in trading there is a right thing to do to earn and to make your investment grow unlike gambling you just play and you don't have any assurance if you can earn money or not.

Unless you are naturally gifted for an activity most people star at zero in almost anything in what they may try to do, gambling an investing are no exception to this rule.

there is also another difference in both of these and that is in gambling you do not have control that what will happen next and the bet comes as a surprise for you while in trading you can easily know and can predict from already and in this way you can control your earnings in trade.

I don't think in trading anyone can predict the outcome and if that is true then in this world everyone would have been rich by now. But in trading, if you go for long then you may not lose all your money suddenly, and you will get a chance to withdraw some of your money if your trade is going the wrong direction. My very experienced traders have lost a lot of money in trading so always trade carefully with smaller amounts until you get sufficient experience.
